About Images to PDF
Collecting photos of receipts, screenshots of a conversation or scans of a handwritten form into one PDF makes them easy to share, print and archive. Add images in any common format, put them in order and pick how they sit on the page.
JPG and PNG files are embedded without recompression, so quality is identical to the originals. Phone photos are turned upright using their orientation data, and transparent PNGs keep their transparency.
Tips for best results
- Choose “Same as image” to make each page exactly the size of its picture.
- Auto orientation puts landscape photos on landscape pages automatically.
- Large photo PDFs can be shrunk afterwards with Compress PDF.
How your file stays on your device
Images to PDF runs entirely inside your web browser. When you choose a file, your browser reads it into memory on your own device, a background Web Worker does the processing, and the result is handed straight back to you as a download. There is no upload step, no server that receives your document and no copy kept anywhere — close the tab and it is gone. That makes it safe for contracts, IDs, medical letters and anything else you would rather not send to a stranger's server. How in-browser processing works
FAQ
Images to PDF: frequently asked questions
Are my images compressed?
JPG and PNG images are embedded without any quality loss. WEBP, GIF and BMP are converted to high-quality JPG or PNG first, because PDF doesn't support them directly.
Can I convert HEIC photos?
HEIC isn't supported by most browsers yet. Convert it to JPG on your phone first (or share as 'Most compatible').
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion happens entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.
