About Extract Pages
Extracting creates a brand-new PDF that contains only the pages you need — for example the signature page of a contract, one chapter of a manual or the two relevant pages of a bank statement. The pages appear in the order you select them.
Large thumbnails make it easy to recognize pages visually, while the range box is faster for long documents. Shift-click selects a run of pages at once. Pages are copied exactly, so the extract looks identical to the original.
Tips for best results
- Shift-click two thumbnails to select everything in between.
- Use “Invert” to quickly select every page except a few.
- Extracted pages keep their original size and orientation.
How your file stays on your device
Extract Pages runs entirely inside your web browser. When you choose a file, your browser reads it into memory on your own device, a background Web Worker does the processing, and the result is handed straight back to you as a download. There is no upload step, no server that receives your document and no copy kept anywhere — close the tab and it is gone. That makes it safe for contracts, IDs, medical letters and anything else you would rather not send to a stranger's server. How in-browser processing works
FAQ
Extract Pages: frequently asked questions
What's the difference between extract and split?
Extract creates one new PDF from the pages you choose. Split divides a document into several files.
Are links and quality preserved?
Pages are copied losslessly, so text and images look identical to the original.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Extraction happens entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.
