About Page Counter
Print shops, translators, legal teams and students often need page counts for many documents at once. Drop in a batch of PDFs and get each file's page count plus the total in seconds.
Only the page structure is read, so even large files are counted almost instantly. Password-protected or damaged files are flagged instead of silently skipped.
Tips for best results
- Download the CSV to paste counts straight into a spreadsheet or quote.
- Add more files at any time; the total updates automatically.
- Need sizes and rotation per page? Metadata Viewer lists them.
How your file stays on your device
Page Counter runs entirely inside your web browser. When you choose a file, your browser reads it into memory on your own device, a background Web Worker does the processing, and the result is handed straight back to you as a download. There is no upload step, no server that receives your document and no copy kept anywhere — close the tab and it is gone. That makes it safe for contracts, IDs, medical letters and anything else you would rather not send to a stranger's server. How in-browser processing works
FAQ
Page Counter: frequently asked questions
Can it count pages in password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted files are flagged. Unlock them first to count their pages.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Counting happens entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.
